Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards has been fined $50,000 for making inappropriate comments towards a fan during Game 1 of Minnesota’s first-round series against the Los Angeles Lakers, per ESPN’s Shams Charania.
The NBA is fining Minnesota’s Anthony Edwards $50,000 for his “my d— bigger than yours” comments to the Lakers crowd Saturday night, sources tell ESPN.

As seen on a now-viral social media video that captured the interaction, Edwards was arguing with a Lakers fan at the scorer’s table before checking into the game. Edwards bragged about Rudy Gobert‘s massive $200 million contract before saying “My d*** bigger than yours,” and walking away.

Edwards has been fined by the NBA several times before for infractions like vulgar press conference comments or for criticizing the league officials.
The incident took place during the third quarter of the matchup that Minnesota went on to win 117-95, with Edwards putting up 22 points, eight rebounds and nine assists.
Game 2 is set for Tuesday at Crypto.com Arena.
