The NBA is one of the most popular global leagues in the world and the talent across not just the U.S. but different countries across the world, allows fans to gravitate to the sport even if they are thousands of miles away.
These past Olympics in Paris helped give us a true idea of the talent of a lot of the players around the world as it was not a cake-walk for Team USA to capture their fifth straight gold medal competing against countries like France, Serbia, etc.

Even with all the talent as we approach the 2024-25 season, the name still at the top of many fans lists is Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James. The global icon will be playing in his 22nd season and has not seemed to slow down after averaging 25.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 8.3 assists last year.

But now fans will get to see James, along with all-stars Jayson Tatum, Anthony Edwards, Jimmy Butler, and Domantas Sabonis from a different perspective.
James will be leading a Netflix sports series called “Starting 5” beginning on October 9th, which is just 13 days before the NBA season kicks off. This series will allow fans to follow these five players on and off the court and some of the behind the scenes work these players put in to help prepare themselves to play at the highest level, as well as their life outside of basketball when they are not on the court.
It’s not just James’ amazing longevity on the court that has fans clamoring for more, but it’s also his lifestyle off the court that some fans are even more intrigued with.
Now with his son Bronny joining him in the purple and gold for the first ever father/son duo to ever play in the NBA together, there will likely be more eyes set on the legacy moment that is soon to come.
