The Charlotte Hornets have not been having a good season so far. They entered Monday night tied with the Detriot Pistons with the worst record in the East at 15-43.

According to a tweet by Mike Conti, the Brand Manager of Sports Radio 92.9 The Game in Atlanta, the Hornets entered Monday’s game vs. the Atlanta Hawks dead last in offensive rating and three-point accuracy.

On this Monday night game, the Hornets would not play to this terrible standard. This includes Hornets’ star LaMelo Ball.

LaMelo has best game of the season in Hornets’ victory

The Charlotte Hornets recently suffered a bad loss on national TV to the Boston Celtics, and LaMelo Ball struggled shooting, only going 9-22 shooting and 2-7 from three. In Monday’s game, things would go differently for LaMelo.

Against the Hawks, LaMelo shot 12-19 from the field and 6-10 from three. He scored 30 points in the game while dropping 15 assists.

This was clearly LaMelo’s best game of the season. It was great to see LaMelo play to the level that we know he’s capable of playing. Oh, and the best part was the Hornets won 144-138.
