The Arizona Wildcats put on a display of dominance in their 109-88 victory over the Arkansas Razorbacks in the Sweet 16 on Thursday.

Size and depth, two traits that have made the Wildcats dangerous all season, were major factors in the matchup. Darius Acuff and the Arkansas Razorbacks simply struggled to contain Arizona in the paint.
The first half of the game was certainly a closer battle. The Razorbacks fought through long-range shooting sturggles and kept it close for the first 2o minutes. By halftime, the Wildcats held onto a nine-point advantage.
Arizona took complete control of the game in the second half, however.
Reigning Big 12 Player of the Year Jaden Bradley facilitated a Wildcats offense that took all of its shots almost exclusively from inside the arc.
Their strong defense allowed them to extend their lead to 20 points after seven second-half minutes. They fired on all cylinders for the remainder of the game and secured the blowout win.
Six Wildcats players scored in double figures as Brayden Burries led the way with 23 points and five rebounds while Koa Peat finished with 23 points and three rebounds.
For Arkansas, star guard Darius Acuff left it all on the floor with 28 points, but shot just 8-of-19 from the floor.
The red-hot Wildcats are now set to face the Purdue Boilermakers in the Elite 8.
