The 21-time All-Star has spent 11 of his 23 seasons with the Cavaliers, and ESPN’s Dave McMenamin reported on Wednesday that the Cavs would “gladly” welcome James back in the offseason if he decides to leave the Lakers.

He leads the Cavaliers in all-time total points, assists, rebounds and steals while being widely regarded as the greatest player in franchise histoey.

With increasing reports of tension between James and L.A.’s front office, a future reunion in Cleveland shouldn’t be completely ruled out.
