After failing to score in his first match against the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Cristiano Ronaldo finds the back of the net early against Uzbekistan.

The goal marks the ninth of his World Cup career, continuing to climb the ladder of the World Cups all-time goal scorers.

With this goal, Ronaldo becomes the first player in World Cup history to score in six different World Cups.

He will look to enter the race for the World Cup’s all-time scorer mark.

Joining names like Harry Kane, Kylian Mbappé and the all-time leader Lionel Messi.

Following their match against Uzbekistan, Portugal finish off their group stage matches at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
