Duke freshman Cameron Boozer was huge on both ends of the floor on Saturday as he led the Blue Devils to a 72-58 victory over the Virginia Tech Hokies.

Duke jumped out to a lead early and never gave it up, increasing their advantage to 16 late in the first half. Long-range shooting struggles didn’t stop the Blue Devils from scoring in bunches, as they finished the game shooting 52.5% from the floor.
Their defense was elite as well, holding the Hokies to just 41.8% shooting from the floor and 26.9% from three.
Boozer finished the game with 24 points, eight rebounds and five assists while shooting 9-of-12 from the floor.
For the Hokies, Amani Hansberry led the way with 20 points and three rebounds while making eight of his 13 shot attempts.
Duke now improves to a perfect 9-0 in ACC play and 20-1 on the season while Virginia Tech falls to 16-7 with the loss.
