Tyrese Maxey continued his stellar play on Thursday night when the Philadelphia 76ers faced the Milwaukee Bucks.

Maxey exploded for a career-high 54 points, five rebounds, nine assists, three steals, and three blocks. Despite the Bucks being without their star, Giannis Antetokounmpo, the 76ers needed every last point from Maxey.

The game went back and forth at the end of the fourth quarter as both teams traded leads in the final few minutes. With 15.1 remaining, Myles Turner nailed a three-pointer to give the Bucks a 106-104 lead.

Maxey would respond by drawing a foul and calmly hitting both of his free throws to tie the game. After Ryan Rollins missed a three-pointer at the buzzer, the game headed into overtime.

In overtime, the 76ers scored the first five points and eventually ran away with the game. Maxey scored six points in overtime as the 76ers outscored the Bucks 17-8 and won 123-114.
