Travis Kelce makes confident claim about Chiefs’ playoff push

The Kansas City Chiefs have been one of the most dominant teams in the NFL over the last decade, but they’ve had a disappointing season so far at just 6-6.

While they’ve looked vulnerable in the past before going on to win it all, the Chiefs must now win nearly every game for the rest of the season if they want to make the playoffs.

In a recent episode of his podcast “New Heights”, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce said he is still confident that Kansas City is one of the top teams in the NFL.

“I’m sure everyone is sick of us saying it, but we’re a few plays away from being a one seed in my mind,” Kelce said. “All of the losses are within one score, and there’s a handful of plays within those games that are determining the outcome.”

Kelce’s point is supported by the fact that Kansas City is 0-5 in one-score games this season.

If the Chiefs don’t blow out the rest of their opponents or close out tight games, they could miss the playoffs for the first time since 2014.
