New Orleans Saints run game coordinator T.J. Paganetti was dismissed after the team rushed for just 18 yards against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Paris.

The New Orleans Saints fired run game coordinator T.J. Paganetti on Monday, November 2, 2026, during their bye week — one week after gaining 18 rushing yards on 17 carries in a 16-10 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Paris.

That total was the franchise’s worst rushing output since an 11-yard game in 1999. The Saints are 2-5 and occupy last place in the NFC South.

Head coach Kellen Moore confirmed during the bye week that he would review all offensive functions. He said Paganetti and offensive line coach Brendan Nugent led much of the pre-game preparation for the run game, with Moore also participating. Moore described the staff’s approach as collaborative, citing group meetings used previously in Dallas, Los Angeles, and Philadelphia.

This is Moore’s first major coaching staff change since being hired prior to last season.
