The Denver Nuggets appear to be in some trouble. Their series shifted to Los Angeles in Game 3 and the Clippers were ready.

LA jumped out early, taking a 35-28 lead after one quarter, and expanding that lead to 65-47 by halftime. James Harden was the man in the first half, scoring 20 on 6-10 shooting and 3-5 from three.

The Nuggets saw their star and MVP candidate, Nikola Jokic, have a quiet first half, scoring nine points on just six shot attempts.

The second half wouldn’t get much better for Denver, as tonight just wasn’t their night. The Clippers soared to a 117-83 victory behind Harden’s 20 points and 21 by Kawhi Leonard.

Jokic finished with another triple-double with 23 points, 13 rebounds, and 13 assists. Yet, his performance seemed quiet tonight.

With the Clippers now leading the series 2-1 and Game 4 remaining in LA, the Nuggets could be facing some serious problems.

Game 4 is this Saturday at 6:00 PM EST.
