The NBA All-Star Weekend kicked off with the Celebrity Game, which Team Giannis won, and Rome Flynn earned his second consecutive Ruffles NBA All-Star Celebrity Game MVP award.

It also featured the Rising Stars game. This was a four‑team tournament in which 28 rookies, sophomores, and G League standouts were drafted onto squads by NBA legends. This included semifinal matchups played to 40 points and the championship game played to 25 points.
