NBA legend and two-time MVP Steve Nash is officially set to make his return to the NBA world next season, reuniting with former teammate Dirk Nowitzki to be a part of Amazon Prime’s NBA coverage.
NBA insider Marc Stein reported that Nash and Nowitzki will be working alongside Blake Griffin and Taylor Rooks next season as the NBA begins it’s new 11-year media deal.

“Hall of Fame point guard Steve Nash is expanding his scope as a basketball broadcaster. And Nash, in the process, will become teammates again with a very close friend — fellow Hall of Famer Dirk Nowitzki — for the first time in more than 20 years,” said Stein.

Nowitzki poked fun at Nash after the announcement, claiming he’d have to carry Nash “again”.

The eight-time All-Star was widely regarded as one of the greatest point guards in the league and revolutionized NBA basketball alongside Suns head coach Mike D’Antoni in the mid-2000’s.
Nash recently joined L.A. Lakers superstar LeBron James as a co-host on the Mind The Game podcast, where the pair discuss all things basketball.
This new position with Amazon Prime marks Nash’s first venture into professional broadcasting and potentially the beginning of a newfound broadcasting career.
