Once the game ended, Curry, who scored 22 points, was inquired about how he is perceived in Houston. And to this question, he confidently gave the answer: “I’m a winner.”
Curry’s track record against the Rockets demonstrates how he has elevated his performance in critical situations. The Rockets have been an opponent of Curry and the Warriors in the playoffs during the 2015, 2016, 2018, 2019, and 2025 seasons.
Of course, Houston has lost each and every time. This gave the Rockets ample opportunity to study Curry’s game and find ways to counter him moving forward.
Unfortunately for Houston, Curry is a winner, as the Rockets still have not figured out how to stop the greatest shooter in NBA history.
