Stephen Curry delivered a historic performance, scoring 48 points to surpass Michael Jordan for the most 40-point games after turning 30.

“Cool recognition and longevity,” Curry said. “Obviously, I’d like to celebrate it with a win, but any time you’re doing anything with certain names in this league, historically, that definitely means something.”

The milestone came in dazzling fashion, with Curry hitting 12 three-pointers. Yet despite Curry’s brilliance, the Warriors couldn’t secure the win. Golden State fell 136-131 to the Portland Trail Blazers.

Passing Jordan is no small feat. Jordan’s legacy as a six‑time champion and global icon remains untouchable, but Curry’s rise highlights his own transformative impact on the game, from revolutionizing the three‑point shot to redefining offensive spacing.
