Stephen Curry continues to make history. In last night’s game against the San Antonio Spurs, the Golden State Warriors superstar torched the Spurs for 49 points, tying the GOAT, Michael Jordan, for the most 40-point games after turning 30.
Curry’s 49 points against the Spurs were his second straight 40+ game, after dropping 46 against these same Spurs on Wednesday. In Friday’s game, the Warriors needed every point Curry scored, as they squeaked out a 109-108 victory, thanks to a game-winning Curry free throw with 6.4 remaining in the game.
The Warriors’ next game will be against the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday. Can Curry score 40 or more points in a third straight game, surpassing Jordan?
