The San Antonio Spurs defeated the Portland Trail Blazers 120-108 on Friday to take a 2-1 series lead.

The Spurs were without Victor Wembanyama, who’s still recovering from a concussion he suffered during Game 2.
San Antonio actually had more flow on the offensive end in the first quarter, but Portland’s advantage at the line kept them ahead by two points after 12 minutes.
In the second quarter, both squads continued to battle for momentum. The Blazers built a double-digit lead before the Spurs put together a scoring run to get back in it. After three quarters, San Antonio was ahead by one.
After a slow start to the final quarter, Dylan Harper and Stephon Castle led the Spurs on a 12-0 scoring run to jump out to a double-digit advantage.
Down the stretch, clutch free throw shooting helped the Spurs hold on for the win.
Harper finished the game with 27 points and 10 rebounds on 9/12 shooting while Castle had 33 points and five assists on 10-of-18 shooting.
For Portland, Jrue Holiday led the way with 29 points, six rebounds and five assists on 12-of-18 shooting.
