Detroit Pistons guard Malik Beasley is currently under federal invesigation for allegations of gambling related to NBA games and prop bets, ESPN reported Sunday.
The allegations reportedly date back to the 2023-24 season, when Beasley was playing for the Milwaukee Bucks. Beasley started in 77 games that season and at least one major sportsbook detected unusual betting activity surrounding his statistics midway through the season.
