Notre Dame Fighting Irish runningback and Heisman finalist Jeremiyah Love has officially declared for the 2026 NFL Draft.
“Those who know me best know I’m very direct,” Love wrote on social media. “So I am going to get straight to the point and share that I have made the decision to declare for the NFL draft. I know I am prepared for this moment, because of the amazing people I have in my life and I want to thank them now.”

Love is expected to be a top five pick in next year’s draft after setting a new Notre Dame record this season with 21 total touchdowns.
He was fourth in the nation in rushing yards with 1,372, finishing third in the Heisman race behind Vanderbilt QB Diego Pavia and Indiana QB Fernando Mendoza, who went on to win the trophy.
After finishing with a 10-2 record, Notre Dame did not make the College Football Playoff and opted out of playing in a bowl game.
Regardless, Love was one of the top RBs in the nation this season and should be one of the top players in the draft.
