The Denver Nuggets battled the Houston Rockets in a Western Conference showdown on Monday night. The Nuggets edged out the Rockets 128-125 in overtime, extending their winning streak to five games and improving to 19-6 on the season.

Nikola Jokic delivered another masterpiece, posting a triple-double with 39 points, 15 rebounds, and 10 assists. He didn’t do it alone, however.

Jamal Murray was equally brilliant, pouring in 35 points while hitting clutch shots to keep Denver alive in regulation and seal the win in overtime.
The game lived up to the hype as a potential playoff preview. Houston was led by a strong performance from Alperen Sengun, who recorded a 33-point, 10-rebound, 10-assist triple-double.
This overtime thriller showcased why both teams are contenders. The Nuggets, however, appear to be on another level, and the only team that possibly could knock off the Oklahoma City Thunder.
