Denver Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic is one of the most unique players of all time. A recent survey of the league’s general managers revealed that he is still viewed as a top player in the league, with many outlets ranking him as the NBA’s number one player.
While voter fatigue was the probable reason behind Jokic slipping out of first place for “Who will win MVP?”, he finished first place in four major categories.
TOP NEWS
“Who is the best center in the NBA?” – Jokic finished first with 26 of the 30 votes. The Sixers’ Joel Embiid received three votes and the Spurs’ Victor Wembanyama received one vote.
“Who is the best international player in the NBA?” – This category had a very similar vote distribution, with Jokic again receiving 26 votes. The Mavericks’ Luka Doncic received three votes and Wembanyama once again received one vote.

“Which player is the best passer?” – This category was slightly closer, with the Joker receiving 21 votes. Doncic received five votes while Indiana’s Tyrese Haliburton received three votes. Oddly enough, OKC’s Josh Giddey also received a vote for this category.
“Which player has the best basketball IQ?” – This category was more competitive than the previous three, with Jokic finishing in first place with 16 votes and the Lakers’ LeBron James finishing with 9 votes. Doncic, Haliburton and the Spurs’ Chris Paul also received votes for this category.
While it wouldn’t be surprising for Jokic not to care at all about these surveys, it also wouldn’t be surprising for him to prove them right anyways.
