In Sunday’s highly anticipated Game 7 matchup between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Denver Nuggets, OKC opened up a huge lead in the second half to defeat the Nuggets 125-93.
The Nuggets actually jumped out to their own double-digit lead in the first quarter, but OKC’s swarming defense proved why they had the best record in the NBA this season. The Thunder forced numerous Denver turnovers and ran out on the fastbreak as a result, opening up a insurmountable lead in the second half.
