The New York Knicks made history on Wednesday as they took down the San Antonio Spurs 107-106 in Game 4, completing a 29-point comeback.

San Antonio was red-hot from everywhere on the floor in the first half. At the same time, Karl-Anthony Towns ran into foul trouble and Jalen Brunson stayed cold on offense.

As New York’s supporting cast also struggled, the Spurs went up by as many as 29 points.

But major halftime adjustments allowed the Knicks to maintain a high level of physicality while slowly trimming the deficit.

The third quarter may have been ugly, but Brunson was able to help the Knicks cut the lead to 15 entering the fourth.

The final frame was an absolute shootout, something the Knicks had the advantage in. As Madison Square Garden became deafening, it had turned into a tie game in clutch time.

Down by one in the final seconds, OG Anunoby crashed the glass on a missed three by Jalen Brunson, tipping the ball in and securing the comeback victory.

Naturally, social media was in awe after witnessing the largest comeback in Finals history.
