The Oklahoma City Thunder held the homecourt advantage with their 120-109 victory in Game 5. They now take a commanding 3-2 series lead.

The Indiana Pacers, who have surprised everyone all season long, look to be in some trouble.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had a nice game, scoring 31 points, while adding 10 assists. The star for OKC was Jalen Williams, who scored 40 points.

Williams has proven to be the perfect player next to SGA. In fact, he has been getting compared to NBA great Scottie Pippen and Pippen’s role next to the GOAT, Michael Jordan.

After the game, fans took to X to give their opinions on the Thunder’s 3-2 series lead.

OKC is now one win away from winning the championship. They have been the best team all season and will be deserving champions, if they hold on to win the series.

Indiana’s magical run appears to be running out of fuel. It gave the playoffs some excitement but it looks as if the better team will ultimately be crowned NBA champions…

Unless the Pacers can muster up a few more incredible comebacks.
