NBA Fans React To Celtics’ Game 2 Meltdown Against Knicks

The Boston Celtics suffered another heartbreaking loss at the hands of the New York Knicks on Wednesday as they fell to a 0-2 deficit in the series. Boston had home court advantage and a 20-point lead in both games, yet still lost both.

To put it simply, the Celtics have looked like a different team the last two games, especially after their performance in the first round against the Orlando Magic.

They crumbled in the fourth quarter of Wednesday night’s matchup and missed 12 consecutive field goals. In the same span, they gave up a 21-4 scoring run and the Knicks took care of business in the clutch.

Tatum had arguably his worst game of the playoffs so far with just 13 points.

The sudden meltdown prompted strong reactions from fans around the association, with some fans even calling for head coach Joe Mazzulla’s job.

We’ve seen plenty of teams come back from an 0-2 deficit, so it’s certainly a possibility for the Celtics, but there’s something demoralizing about giving up consecutive comebacks at home.

Time will tell if they can respond with a much-needed win on the road in Game 3 on Saturday.
