Miami Heat HC Erik Spoelstra’s House Heavily Damaged By Fire

The home of Miami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra was severely damaged by a fire Thursday morning, but no injuries have been reported and Spoelstra was not home when the fire started.

Officials say the blaze began around 4:36 a.m., and the Heat’s team plane back to Miami did not land until just after 5 a.m.

Over 20 units reportedly responded to fight the fire, which was contained to Spoelstra’s property and did not spread to the surrounding properties.

Spoelstra purchased the five-bedroom , six-bathroom home in 2023.
