Luka Doncic was the beloved superstar of the Dallas Mavericks. This all changed when Dallas shockingly traded him to the Los Angeles Lakers. Now living in sunny California, Doncic explained what he dislikes about LA.

Doncic, who is from Ljubljana, Slovenia, enjoyed life in Dallas. Now that he’s out in Los Angeles, there are positives as well as negatives to his new situation.

“This is the first city I’ve played in that has the ocean, and I really like the ocean,” Doncic said. “After a couple of days, that was the first thing on my mind. I like it very much. The only thing is the traffic.”

Doncic is absolutely right about LA. The traffic is horrific. Still, the beauty of Los Angeles, as well as the constant appearances of celebrities, makes LA one of the best areas to live in.

“Every time there is famous people watching the game sitting courtside, that’s amazing to see,” Doncic added.

The longer Doncic stays in Los Angeles, the more comfortable he’ll get with the traffic. The Lakers need a comfortable Doncic, as they hope he can lead them to another NBA championship.
