LeBron James shocked the world when he teased a second decision online. This caused fans to believe he would announce his retirement at the end of the 2025-26 NBA season.

The idea of LeBron possibly retiring caused the prices of LeBron’s final games to skyrocket. Andrew Garcia, a die-hard Lakers fan, decided he wouldn’t miss out on this historic moment.

Garcia bought tickets to the Lakers’ game against LeBron’s former team, the Cleveland Cavaliers. He bought two tickets worth $432.83, totaling $865.66.

Since LeBron’s ‘decision’ turned out to be an ad for Hennessy, Garcia believes he overpaid for those tickets. Garcia is now suing LeBron, as he wrote in his suit, the NBA legend owes him because of “fraud, deception, misrepresentation, and any and all basis of legal recovery.”

“I wouldn’t have purchased it if he wasn’t going to retire. Plain and simple,” Garcia said in an interview with TMZ.

Will LeBron have to pay Garcia for his online stunt?
