LeBron James returned to action on Thursday after missing one game to face the Dallas Mavericks, who were without rookie sensation Cooper Flagg. For the Los Angeles Lakers, they remained without Luka Doncic.
Still, you’d think the Lakers, with LeBron, would have an easy go. After the first half of play, the Lakers found themselves leading by just one, 64-63. This was thanks to a 12-0 run by Dallas at the end of the second quarter.

All hope for Dallas would dissipate in the third quarter as the Lakers outscored the Mavericks 32-19. In the fourth, LA pushed their lead to 22 at one point and eventually won 124-104.
LeBron led the Lakers with 28 points, 10 rebounds, and 12 assists. The Lakers now enter the All-Star break with a 33-21 record.
