Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is entering his 22nd season in the NBA and against all odds, continues to play at a high level. Alas, all good things must come to an end and eventually James will retire as the greatest player of all time. He recently went on the “Gojo and Golic” podcast and hinted at a potential broadcasting career when his playing days are over.
“You know, I don’t know. I definitely love the sport. It would be great. I see Tom Brady doing it, and he’s been great so far. And, you know, we will see, even if it’s just a guest appearance, you know, one game or two when I’m done playing,” James said. “But it’s always fun to give back to the game because the game has given me so much. So, if it’s basketball, if it’s football, if it’s whatever, I love the word ‘sport,’ because it’s given so much to me and my family. And it’s only right that I give back to it.”

The 20-time All Star knows more about the game of basketball than anyone, so his knowledge would be useful in the booth. Players such as Mark Jackson, Grant Hill, Reggie Miller and many more have already made that transition after retiring from the league, giving James a blueprint for the career change in the event that he pursues one.
