The Los Angeles Lakers renewed their rivalry as they battled the Denver Nuggets on Thursday night. For the Lakers, history was made as LeBron James passed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the most made field goals in NBA history.
LeBron scored 16 points on 7-11 shooting. Unfortunately for the Lakers, they ran into their old rivals, the Denver Nuggets.
Nikola Jokic continued his MVP-level of play posting 28 points, 12 rebounds, and 13 assists, while the Lakers killer, Jamal Murray, added 28 points and seven assists.
The momentous moment for LeBron ended in a 120-113 loss to the Nuggets. LeBron also appeared to injure his elbow, which will cause concern, especially since the Lakers play again today against the Indiana Pacers.
