Kawhi Leonard is on go mode and Clippers fans are loving it.
He had only one game in March where he scored under 20 points, but he has Los Angeles on a five-game winning streak and navigating it to be a serious threat in the NBA postseason for the Western Conference. Leonard turned in back-to-back 20+ point games to open this month, including 20 points in Friday’s 114-91 victory for the Clippers over the Dallas Mavericks at home.

He made two 3-pointers (four attempts) and collected six rebounds, two assists, and a steal. Leonard is not only showing everyone he is fully healthy, but he also wants to prove his critics wrong. The biggest knock on him is not he is not available in critical moments for the franchise. Leonard is keeping his body in line to make a huge run in the playoffs for his team.
According to Clippers’ head coach Tyronn Lue, Leonard will a “game-time decision” for Saturday versus Dallas in a back-to-back stretch.
Los Angeles (45-32) remains at the No. 7 seed for the Play-In Tournament in two weeks.
