The Indiana Pacers and New York Knicks battled once again in Game 3. This time, the game was played in Indiana.

The Pacers outplayed the Knicks in New York and after one half of play in Indiana, the Pacers comfortably led 58-45.

This wouldn’t faze the Knicks. They stormed back in the second half, led by Karl-Anthony Towns’ 24 points and 15 rebounds to win 106-100, securing their first victory of the postseason.

Towns showed everyone why the Knicks brought him in at the beginning of the season. New York needed someone to help Jalen Brunson on the offensive end, especially during big playoff games.

Brunson, who is the Knicks’ best player, struggled shooting in Game 3, going 6-18 from the field. Still, Brunson scored 23 for New York while hitting clutch free throws.

The Pacers’ star, Tyrese Haliburton, had a solid game scoring 20 points while adding seven assists and three steals. Haliburton wouldn’t get the help he needed, however.

In Game 2, Pascal Siakam scored a game-high 39 points. Tonight, Siakam scored just 17 while being a -21 on the plus-minus rating.

The Knicks survived the Pacers in Game 3, bringing the series to 2-1. If the Knicks, and Towns, brings this type of intensity in Game 4, this series may be tied at 2-2 when we head back to New York.
