Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs said Wednesday he does not expect to miss any more games beyond the six he served on the NFL commissioner’s exempt list, even after new allegations surfaced.

Jacobs pleaded no contest on September 10 to battery and criminal destruction of property charges stemming from a May 23 incident at his residence in the Green Bay area. He was convicted of battery and fined $1,000; he entered a deferred judgment agreement on the property damage charge.

He missed the first six games of the 2026 season while on the exempt list. The NFL reinstated him for Week 7, though its investigation into possible personal conduct policy violations remained open. Over the weekend, the league announced it would review prior allegations disclosed after the Hobart/Lawrence Police Department released records last week under a public records request.

Those records include statements from three women alleging physical and verbal abuse by Jacobs in separate incidents beginning in April 2021. Jacobs’ attorneys called the claims “unsupported and stale allegations” last week. Jacobs labeled the new allegations “completely false — like, completely made up” and described them as “an attack on me and who I am and my character.” He said he is focused on staying true to himself amid the scrutiny.

“I’m not concerned about missing more time than I already have,” Jacobs said. “It’s up to the league to reach its final decision.”

Packers coach Matt LaFleur said Monday he anticipates Jacobs remaining with the team, adding, “We’re going to allow the NFL to do its process.”

According to ESPN’s official data feeds, Jacobs is a 28-year-old running back in his eighth NFL season. He was selected by the Oakland Raiders with the 24th overall pick in the 2019 draft.
