Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler is no stranger to adversity. It seems like every time the playoffs come around, Butler and the Heat turn it up a notch and win a series that everyone predicted they would lose.
Despite the heroic efforts nearly every postseason, the Heat have continued to come short of a title. After a disappointing first round loss to the Celtics, Miami must make the most out of this offseason if they want to contend for a championship.

Butler is 34 and while he may still be playing well, there has been an uptick in his injury woes over the last few years. It would be unfair to ask him to keep willing an underdog team to an NBA championship.

Bam Adebayo has been a major bright spot during Butler’s time with the Heat. If the team’s core of Butler, Adebayo, Terry Rozier and Tyler Herro can play a full season in full health, they might be able to make another run at a title.
The Eastern conference continues to get better and more competitive, so the clock is ticking in Miami.
