A frightening situation happened to the Boston Celtics in Game 4 versus the New York Knicks, but a moment of relief came on Tuesday.
Jayson Tatum suffered a ruptured right Achilles tendon in game four as he fell to the floor in the fourth quarter.

He was putting on a show before the injury with 42 points, eight rebounds, four assists, four steals, and two blocks, but the Knicks gained momentum when he went down. Tatum’s group suffered a 113-121 loss to New York, dropping 3-1 in the second round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, Tatum had a successful surgery.
