Cleveland Cavaliers guard James Harden was arrested in Houston on Saturday morning on one misdemeanor charge of unlawful carrying of a weapon, according to the California Post.

According to police records, Harden is accused of “unlawfully, intentionally and knowingly” having a handgun in his vehicle in plain view. Authorities say the gun was not in a holster.

These records indicate that Harden’s charge stems from the fact that the gun wasn’t being holstered or stored properly. Further details regarding his arrest, including where he was at that time, have not been made public.

He was released later on Saturday morning on a $100 bond and his arraignment is scheduled for June 22.

Harden just finished this season on the Cleveland Cavaliers after being traded by the Los Angeles Clippers in February. He helped guide Cleveland to an appearance in the Eastern Conference Finals, where they were swept by the New York Knicks.
