He was shut down in game one, but Jalen Green had an answer on Wednesday against Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors.
The former No. 2 overall pick of the 2021 NBA Draft roared with a bounce back performance for the Houston Rockets in a 109-94 victory, tying the series at one in the Western Conference playoffs. After having just seven points in game one, Green rebounded with a game-high 38 points on 13-of-25 shooting from the field. He made eight 3-pointers and posted four rebounds, six assists, and three steals in the matchup. Green’s outing had four others for the Rockets score in double figures, including Alperen Sengun who had a double-double with 17 points and 16 boards. He managed to fend off Curry and the Warriors, but the matchup moves to the bay area as Golden State has games three and four at home. Green has to have the Rockets take the crowd out early.
