In Ja Morant‘s return to the lineup, the Memphis Grizzlies dominated the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday, 123-98.
After missing the last eight games due to injury, Morant hit the ground running and scored or assisted on six of the Grizzlies’ first seven field goals. By halftime, he was the only player in double figures but the Grizzles held a double-digit lead. Their offense continued to roll in the second half as they closed out the 25-point blowout.

Morant finished with 22 points and 11 assists while Jaren Jackson Jr. put up 21 points, six rebounds and three blocks. Monday night’s performance cemented Jackson Jr. as the first player in NBA history with five straight games with multiple threes, multiple blocks and a steal.

Portland struggled from the field and was led by Deni Avdija with 17 points, eight rebounds and six assists. The Blazers shot just 33% from the floor and 17% from three.
On Wednesday, the Grizzles will host the Detroit Pistons while the Trail Blazers will play the Pacers in Indianapolis.
