‘Inside The NBA’ reportedly airing on ESPN starting next season

According to multiple reports, immensely popular NBA talk show “Inside The NBA” will appear on ESPN/ABC starting in the 2025-26 season after a settlement between the NBA and Warner Brothers Discovery.

The show’s quartet of Shaquille O’Neal, Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith and Charles Barkley will remain with the show, which will reportedly be produced by TNT Sports and aired on ESPN and ABC. The settlement comes after WBD alleged in a lawsuit that the NBA had failed to accept their matching offer in the new media rights deal, thus violating a matching-rights clause.

Turner Sports has had an NBA package since 1984 and games first appeared on TNT in 1988 and “Inside The NBA” made it’s debut in 1990. The show’s A-Team of Shaq, Johnson, Smith and Barkley have become synonymous with the NBA and has become one of the most popular sports television shows of all time.

When the league announced that it was not renewing it’s deal with WBD, the NBA world was devastated to find out that the beloved show was coming to an end. Luckily, it doesn’t seem to be going anywhere.
