Giants Rookie Cam Skattebo Carted Off With Serious Leg Injury

New York Giants rookie runningback Cam Skattebo was carted off the field Sunday afternoon during New York’s matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. he appeared to suffer a serious right ankle injury.

As he attempted to catch a pass near mid-field in the second quarter, he fell awkwardly with his ankle under another player. It then appeared to twist sharply to the right. His ankle was quickly put into an air cast before the rookie was carted off the field.

The Philadelphia crowd cheered for Skattebo as he left the field.

Due to the very graphic nature of the injury, the video of the play will not be shared here.

The injury is the latest to weaken New York’s offense as Malik Nabers is already out for the season with a torn ACL.
