Giannis Antetokounmpo

It’s no secret that the Miami Heat remain a legitimate destination in the everlasting trade rumors for Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo.

As the Bucks are coming off their worst season in a decade, their relationship with Antetokounmpo seems as rocky as ever. Amid the trade speculation, he was spotted at an airport in Miami earlier this week.

To be fair, Antetokounmpo may have been taking a vacation in Miami or had just landed there after a trip overseas. But his appearance there certainly doesn’t quiet the noise.

Multiple reports indicate that the Bucks are “open for business” on trade talks for Antetokounmpo and he prefers to remain in the Eastern Conference.

The Heat have been leading the pack in these recent sweepstakes along other teams like the Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics.

After failing to reach the postseason, Heat president Pat Riley seemed ready for a change.

“We are just not good enough. We are not happy with it,” Riley said. “This is the first time in those three years that we have an opportunity to do something with our roster, with our flexibility, with our players.”

Obviously, a deal with any team could be made at any time, but Miami appears to be one of the most likely destinations for the 10-time All-Star.
