Fans react to Knicks’ physical Game 2 victory over Spurs

The New York Knicks put on an impressive display of both offense and defense against the San Antonio Spurs on Friday. While they came in as the apparent underdogs, they now have a commanding 2-0 NBA Finals lead.

While Jalen Brunson didn’t have his best night, Karl-Anthony Towns was on the money with the ball in his hands. He also kept up his terrific defensive streak and disrupted Victor Wembanyama for much of the night.

San Antonio pulled together a quick scoring run late to make it competitive, but the Knicks held on for the win. As the game went on, the NBA world was largely impressed with New York’s level of play.

As great as the Spurs have been this postseason, the Knicks are on a run that’s nothing short of historic. They’ve now won 13 straight playoff games, the second-longest playoff winning streak in NBA history.

With a 2-0 lead heading into Game 3 at home, they’ll look to make it 14 in a row on Monday.
