Erling Haaland used a second half brace to keep Norway over Senegal and to put them on a collision course with France to determine the winner of Group I.

Norway would see a great chance early in the third minute on a corner.
But Senegalese goalkeeper Édouard Mendy would make the save.
Both sides continued to go end-to-end, with neither side being able to break through.
That was until late into the first half in the 43rd minute.
A give away deep in their own territory saw Senegal on the back foot.
Marcus Holmgren Pedersen, who had come on 30 minutes prior to fill in for Julian Ryerson.
Holmgren Pedersen would slot his strike right past Mendy and in to put Norway ahead 1-0.
In the 45+4th minute, Haaland would have two great opportunities to double Norway’s lead.
But he could not find the back of the net on either attempt.
Coming into the half, Norway would lead 1-0.
Those two earlier misses seemed to invigorate Haaland as he would score less than three minutes into the second half.
But Senegal would not be swayed, just over five minutes later Ismaïla Sarr would steal a goal right back.
But just a few minutes later, in the 58th Haaland would secure himself a brace and put Norway back up by two.
Senegal would make sure to make the game interesting late.
Sarr would secure himself a brace following a pass into the box from Nicolas Jackson.
Senegal would search for an equalizer but would not be able to do so before the full-time whistle.
Norway would take the contest 3-1.
Norway and Senegal will both play their final group stage matches on Friday.
Norway, with their win over Senegal have secured their spot in the group for 32 and will face off against France to see who takes Group I.
Senegal will take on Iraq for a third place in the group and a possibly appearance in the round of 32.
