The Los Angeles Dodgers took down the Texas Rangers 6-3 on Saturday in a thrilling battle that featured plenty of highlights.

Brandon Nimmo started the game with a 405′ leadoff home run for the Rangers, but the rest of the batters went cold.
In the bottom of the first, Shohei Ohtani tied it with a solo home run of his own before Teoscar Hernandez slammed a three-run homer to put the Dodgers up 4-1.
A few innings later, Hernandez sent a runner in on a grounder to go up 5-1. On the flipside, solid pitching and fielding from the Dodgers is what kept the Rangers cold.
After a few more scoreless innings, Nimmo hit his second home run of the night in the top of the sixth to score two runs and make it a 5-3 game.
A couple more scoreless innings followed before Andy Pages hit an RBI single in the bottom of the eighth to push the Dodgers to a 6-3 advantage.
Los Angeles went on to retire three hitters before Texas could score again, sealing the victory.
