A huge three by Devin Booker sealed a 108-105 victory for the Phoenix Suns against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday. With only 0.7 seconds left, his cool step-back shot found nothing but net.
That win broke Oklahoma City’s run of four straight victories, giving the reigning NBA champions their sixth defeat this year.
For the Suns, it was sweet revenge after suffering two earlier defeats to the Thunder this season, including a humiliating 138-89 blowout in the NBA Cup quarterfinals.
Booker scored 24 points while Jordan Goodwin provided a massive spark off the bench, pouring in a career-high 26 points on eight three-pointers.
For the Thunder, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led with 25 points, while Jalen Williams added 23. Despite strong performances, OKC was unable to close out the game.
