Delaware State Hornets defeated Saint Vincent Bearcats 86–52 on Monday in a men’s college basketball season opener for both teams.

Hornets guard Nehemiah Reedus scored 19 points, grabbed five rebounds and recorded four steals. Guard Nasir Muhammad added 18 points, shooting 7 of 11 from the field and 4 of 7 from 3-point range, along with five rebounds. Forward Isaiah Sullivan finished with 16 points on 6-of-15 shooting, including 3 of 7 from beyond the arc.
