Flagg earned National College Player of the Year, Consensus first-team All-American, first-team All-ACC, ACC All-Freshman Team, ACC Rookie of the Year, and ACC Player of the Year in the 2024-25 campaign. He averaged 19.1 points on 48.1 percent shooting from the field, while making 38.5% from three-point range and having 7.5 rebounds with 4.2 assists, 1.4 blocks, and 1.4 steals per game. ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith sees Flagg as the ‘total package’ entering the league and he has the tools to show it.
He scored double figures in points during Duke’s run to the Final Four, including 30 points in a Sweet 16 matchup versus Arizona to the tune of a 100-93 win for the Blue Devils. Flagg has marquee potential to be special in the NBA and we’ll see who gets him.
He is regarded as possibly the No. 1 overall pick of the draft.
