A former Alabama men’s basketball star could be on the move to his third NBA team.

Collin Sexton, a native Georgian, finished his third season with the Utah Jazz.

Kendrick Perkins feels Devin Booker should not remain in Phoenix

He recorded career-highs for free throw percentage (86.5) and three-point shooting (40.6), while averaging 18.4 points per game. His best season came in his third year in the league with the Cleveland Cavaliers (2020-21) as he totaled 24.3 points per contest, but he was traded to the Jazz for the 2022-23 season. A knee injury (torn meniscus) and failure between him and Cleveland to agree on a new contract led to the trade. Sexton, 26, is a former McDonald’s All-American and five-star prospect that led the Crimson Tide to the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament as a freshman in the 2017 season.

According to Evan Sidery of Forbes, Utah is ‘listening to trade calls’ for Sexton.

He has $19.1 million remaining on an expiring contract; however, Sexton would benefit a team that’s a contender.

It will be interesting to see which team makes the call with the right number for him.
