The Boston Celtics jumped out to another 20-point lead over the New York Knicks in Game 4 on Saturday and was finally able to maintain that lead and pick up a much-needed 115-93 win.

Madison Square Garden was packed with celebrities for one of the biggest playoff games in the venue in years, but the Celtics used the rowdy Knicks crowd as fuel for a huge first quarter.

Boston’s three-point shooting returned to it’s usual form to go along with a much stronger rebounding effort. The result was a dominant first half that saw the Celtics go up by as many as 25 points.

The lead only grew in the third quarter and ballooned to 31 as the Celtics stifled nearly every Knicks scoring run.

New York cut the deficit to 20 points in the fourth, but Boston’s lights out shooting secured the victory down the stretch. The Celtics shot a blistering 50% from three while holding the Knicks to just 20% shooting from deep.

Peyton Pritchard was huge for the Celtics off the bench with 23 points on 5-10 shooting from three as Jayson Tatum finished with 22 points nine rebounds and seven assists.

Jalen Brunson had 27 points for New York and Karl-Anthony Towns put up 21 points and 15 rebounds in the loss.

The Knicks may be in trouble moving forward as Towns doubled over in pain during the game after he appeared to injure his left hand, which was already wrapped up.

He remained in the game, but the Knicks will need him at full strength if they want to respond with a Game 4 win on Monday.
